Spirit Rhymes (Inspirational Poetry)

 

SPIRIT RHYMES, formerly Divine Rhymes 100+ , a compilation from Divine Rhymes I & II is inspirational poetry about my observations about situations in life in respect to how God views them or how we need God to survive.

At the end of writing Divine Rhymes, I thought this particular divine assignment was done since I was originally instructed to stop at 52 poems, one for each week of the year in Divine Rhymes.   However, poems continued

to pour out stronger than ever.  Thus the birth of Divine Rhymes II.  

 

As with Divine Rhymes I , this second book of inspirational poetry was also divinely inspired as titles for poems came from everywhere faster than I could write the poems themselves; church sermons, phrases from friends, situations on television, personal thoughts, just to name a few

 

The entire collection in Divine Rhymes II was written eight weeks from the Lord’s planted seed for me to write them.   On some days I would simply hear a phrase, which inspired a title.   This was an exciting process for me as I have never been inspired to write poetry at this rate in my life.  I then combined the two books into Divine Rhymes 100+.

 

Due to a clash with an existing title by the same name, the book of poetry was retitled to SPIRIT RHYMES.  May these poems be a blessing to you reading them as they have been to me while writing them.
